Brin got a Tinkerbelle tent for her birthday. I was working in the back one afternoon, as I came up to the front of the house to check on a few things, I noticed that Nick had decided to “try out” the tent. This is what happens when you leave a quad alone with a child’s tent…they get STUCK!! There should be a WARNING on the side of the tent that says…keep out of reach of quadriplegics! May be harmful! HAHA! It was a good laugh to walk into the living room and see this!

A Bunch of 1st’s…
Sitting her chair with a sippy cup of milk and her dog watching Sesame Street…A 1st!
June 5th: Had a popsicle at Aunt Nona and Uncle Chris’…DELISH! She cried when it was gone! Another 1st!
June 16th: Had her 1st grilled cheese sandwich. She LOVED every bite of that too! Another great 1st!
June 16th: Got Brin undressed and colored with markers. She was in seventh heaven…and before we kjnew it, it was EVERYWHERE! She had a blast and luckily it’s washable markers!!She had just stopped crying after I told her (in a sweet kind voice) No, no babe…markers don’t got in your mouth. First came the pouty face, eyes welding up and then come the screams!
This has been such a FUN break so far…cant wait for the rest and what it has to offer us!
We’ve got a “FISH”
Friday, June 17th, Brin and I had our first Tot Swim class. We BOTH had a ball. Brin was not afraid of the water (as I NEVER anticipated that anyway) and by the end of the class, she was putting her face in the water and already had figured out how to climb out of the pool.
Yesterday (June 21) we spent the afternoon swimming at the pool. She again, had a blast. She can sit and wait for my cue as to when to get in the water, she put her head all the way under the water and is getting more comfortable on her back too. It sure did wipe her out though. She was asleep before we got home (the pool is 5 minutes away).
I have a feeling we have a little fish (among other things, like a little drummer, a gymnast, a piano player, and she sure does have one heck of an arm too)
