November pictures

Just realized I never posted our pictures from Brins 6 month “photo shoot”. Here are some of the good ones. Thanks to Liz @ Eddies photography!

Not sure where 8 months have gone!

Brin was 8 months old on January 20th. I am just amazed by the speed at which this is all going…TOO FAST! I always thought it was going to go fast, and expected it to, but really not THIS FAST! I know she is just a baby still, but really…8 months already? Soon it’s going to be Kindergarten, then 5th grade, then going to High School and off to College…pause, pause, pause!! PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!

At 8 months Brin is doing so many things:

She is starting to eat solid type foods, so far we have just given her the baby puffs…she is liking them.

She is sitting up in the bath tub…no more sink

She is laughing at herself

Making lots of sounds when she talks: particularly Dadada, GGGGG and every so often Mamama. She still hasn’t put the word with the person yet, so it is really just a sound. We are trying to teach her DOG because she has all the sounds for it and I think that she is recognizing the word with the animal…

Crawling everywhere

LOVES music

Loves to snuggle into Daddy and read books

Has really been snuggling in to Mommy’s shoulder and just chilling.

Putting toys in buckets and out of buckets

HATES to have her face touched!

Loves her back and arm to be tickled…but will move your hand away when she has had enough.

Sleeps with her hands under her belly and butt in the air. (I LOVE IT!)

Sleeps with her monkey under her arm!

Beginning to pull her self up to her knees

Doesn’t sit still for very long…taking monthly pictures is getting harder…

Her 1st birthday is going to be here before we know it! As sad as I am that time is passing so fast, I am so excited for what is to come in our family…Great things with a GREAT little girl! We definitely won the LOTTERY!

Crawling EVERYWHERE!!!

Brin has definitely mastered the whole crawling thing. She has just figured out how to crawl on the wood floors. When she wants to back up and turn around on the wood floors, she lays flat on her belly and pushes with her hands, sliding the rest of her body around…it is really funny to watch!

On this particular day, she backed herself under the chair and then was mad when she couldn’t get out. :)

Wii for 8 month olds!

Brin is definitely taking a liking to the Wii and all that is on the Sofa table. The first time she noticed the Wii she was all about it!

Umm…Welcome to our world!?!

Nick is home with Brin on Thursdays and is really enjoying his time with her. This past Thursday he was a little tired when I got home from work, as he only had about 4 hours of sleep the night before. So, as I cleaned Brins room, Nick climbed into her big comfy chair and fell asleep. I finished cleaning and Brin and I left Nick to sleep. About 25 minutes later, I hear a big crash and go in to find this… I then told him, “Don’t move, I’m taking a picture”.

All you can do is LAUGH!!!!

I LOVE THIS!

Brin is now sleeping like this and I just can’t get enough of it! It is SOO stinking CUTE!
