Beware of the Sesame Street TRANCE!

We have been recording Sesame Street on DVR lately…Brin is really getting into it. We have been putting it on while we are getting ready on the weekends. Brin ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! Here are 2 pictures of the TRANCE!!

She just sits in her chair (or car seat…as this picture shows) with her snack and drink. Today they were learning about BUBBLES! I had to take a picture of Brin and the TRACE”ing”.

No need to spend lots of money on her!

We recently purchased a new computer and FINALLY took it out of the box today! Brin has soo much fun with the box…no need to purchase expensive things.P1140220P1140222P1140224

Good Morning Master B!

This morning as I was cleaning the house, Brin was walking around the house with one of my necklaces on. Nick always makes fun on this one, and it now seems to be one of Brins favorites! She was reading books and dressing up most of the morning! She CRACKES us up!P1140217P1140218

Help your self!

Earlier this week, Ii was talking on the phone, not keeping my eyes directly on Brin…I knew she was in the kitchen and knew she couldn’t get in to anything too terrible…after a few minutes, I decided to check on her…and to my surprise I found her dumping cheerios on the floor, tring VERY hard to get them into the bowl that she had located in her drawer of stuff.Lola seemed to enjoy the extras as well! Washin dishes!

While at Chris and Nona’s for Sunday dinner a few weeks ago, Brin insisted on helping Nona with the dishes. I couldn’t help but snap these pictures. She LOVED to have her hands in the water!  P1140206P1140207P1140208

Dollinger Pumpkin Patch

Today we spent the morning at the pumpkin patch in Minooka with Nona and Sofi. We went to the same place that we tried out last year…free to get in, lots of things for the kids to climb in and on, beautiful creek running thru the middle of the farm, flowers, animal petting are, tipee, PUMPKINS, shop, corn maze and hay rides. We took the play route, petting animals and snapping a few cute pics. We let Brin pick a pumpkin and then decided to save the BIG pumpkin shopping for a cheaper place. After spending about 2 hours there, we loaded the 5 of us back into the car and met Mason and Chris at Portillo’s for lunch. Thinking back on our trip to Dollingers last year and our trip this year, it is AMAZING at how much Brin has changed in 1 year. Life is moving so fast!! Take at peak:

Apple Picking

On Sunday, October 2nd, Brin and I went to the County Line Apple Orchard with Chris & Nona & the kids. We had a great time. The weather was perfect, about 58-60 degrees and sunny. This was Brins first time at the Apple Orchard. She was not really into picking apples off the tree, however she had a blast holding the apples and walking the isles saying, “apple” in her cute little voice. She got to take her first bites of an apple and LOVED it…she has had an apple every night since the orchard. Here are a few pics from our trip:

Yogurt anyone???

We are now officially into feeding our self and refusing food if someone else is putting it in her mouth! Oh…is this going to be a difficult few months. She is not taking any food unless she is feeding herself. These are some pictures of the first time she attempted…not too bad. DSC_1337DSC_1340DSC_1345DSC_1346
