As I sit here and think about what to blog, I begin to think about all that has happened to us in 2010…the good, the bad and the AWESOME…not soo much ugly. We are ever grateful for the blessings we felt in 2010 and pray for more in 2011.
In 2010 (in no particular order) :
We both celebrated our 32nd birthdays
Continued our adoption wait
Met new friends and reconnected with old
Found out Nick’s dad had Lung & Brain Cancer
Recently celebrated good health in Chuck’s recovery
Bought a new car…said bye bye to our 200,500 miles on the old car!
Traveled to Portland, OR and LOVED IT!!! (minus me getting the stomach flu)
Said Goodbye to Nick’s boss, mentor, and friend
Spent lots of time with Chris, Nona and the kids
Traveled to Florida 5 times
Threw a great bridal shower for my cousin Jackie & Matt
Welcomed a BEAUTIFUL bundle of JOY…Brin Nayelli
Experienced the incredible joy the parenthood
Took the dog on lots of walks
Had an AWESOME time off with the baby while on Maternity leave!
Participated in Mommy/baby groups while off of work
Took a beautiful family picture
Introduced the baby to friends and family
Felt an INCREDIBLE out pouring of love and support as we welcomed the baby…THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!
Well, that seems to 2010 in a nut shell. We feel blessed for all that came to us this year and look forward to what is to come in the new year!
