On Saturday, September 25th Nick and I were treated with babysitters and sent on a DATE. It was AWESOME!! About 2 weeks before this we had a message on out answering machine from Claudia Fritz stating that she and Alisha would LOVE to babysit Brin and get to know her better. So…we called back and said YES! We dropped the baby off at Bob & Lois’ house (where Claudia & Alisha were staying for the weekend) about 4 o’clock. We headed to Schererville to eat (Red Robin was out choice cause we couldn’t really decide) and then we saw a movie. The movie wasn’t that great (neither was the theater…GROSS…I sat with my hands crossed and purse in my lap…Nick laughed at me thru the entire movie) But we had a great evening out!
Brin had a WONDERFUL evening too and was soo well cared for! Thanks C & A….what great friends and influences for our mini! :) Claudia reported that they played on the floor, took turns holding her, Elizabeth got a chance to be around a baby before her new brother or sister arrives, fed her, got her ready for bed and off to sleep…all before we arrived back by 9.
